Key DPG messages/Priorities
- Support the implementation of Uganda’s CRRF Vision of a coordinated accountable and sustainable refugee response for socio-economic transformation of refugees and host communities
- Enhance coordination of all stakeholders at both the district and national level for an integrated, effective and sustainable refugee management approach
- Mainstream the CRRF into national and sub national planning to address the long-term impacts of hosting refugees and transitional of humanitarian services.
Objectives
The objective of the CRRF DPG is to provide a platform for Development Partners to:
1) Coordinate programming between refugees and host communities
2) Share best practices and develop shared analyses
3) Discuss policy issues with a view to, when relevant, agreeing on common positions as a basis for dialogue with GoU and other stakeholders
4) Promote alignment with humanitarian partners under the Refugee Humanitarian Partners’ Group (RHPG)
5) Ensure a coordinated engagement at the CRRF Steering Group.
