National Coordination Framework

The Office of the Prime Minister is responsible for the coordination and implementation of government policies, programs and projects across ministries, departments and agencies. In 2003, the Institutional Framework for Coordination of Policy and Program Implementation in Government (IFCPPI) was formally established under the Office of the Prime Minister to set up an effective national coordination structure. The IFCPPI is composed of the following structures:

The ICPPI is supported by 16 joint Sector Working Groups responsible for implementation of the National Development Plan and service delivery at sector level. In addition to that, there are a number of thematic and ad hoc coordination groups.
